A custom Kinman guitar, Serial No. 7812201, natural finish, in Bo Diddley's signature rectangular solid body style, Ibanez tuners, 20 fret fingerboard, with mother of pearl dot inlays, Kinman logo inlayed to head, with small mother of pearl head plaque inscribed with "Bo Diddley" on head, two Humbucking style pickups, eight rotary controls, six selector switches, with electronics visible through plexiglass on back, together with hardshell case. Handmade by Chris Kinman in Brisbane Australia for Bo Diddley, who owned and used this as his main guitar for 16 years on albums, tours and television appearances. Few, if any, other guitars are so immediately associated with a single artist in the way Diddley's rectangular guitar is inexorably linked to him. Signed by Diddley in the upper left quarter on the front of the guitar, "From Bo Diddley 1992 Rock On." Also present is a letter of authenticity from Bo Diddley and a picture of him with the guitar.
